the city of Medford has, in it's wisdom, gone after that flower.
Disclaimer...I am not in Medford.

It only causes the company that owns Frito Lay stock to go up! This madness has to end!
And blocking sales establishments
If the state passes a law, can a city rewrite it and ban growing?

My town was "dry" up until about 5 years ago.
and growing of marijuana. Downside for them is that they do not share in the substantial tax revenue. It also puts money in the pockets of of the drug cartels.
they cannot compete with modern growing care and crafting of clones. A clone sold here, about 8 miles away, last week for 20,000 dollars. The cartels had to live in the woods, in the weather and most of all...in FEAR. They still do....so they left. Look for them growing shit weed in a National Forest near you. The quality has driven them out, at least here.
...it needs to be legalized.
The other is to prevent the criminalization of 700,000 people in the US arrested for pot each year.
While blacks and whites smoke pot at the same percentage rate, blacks are 4 times more likely to be arrested for it.
And with that on their records are unlikely to get hired for a job.
I read that early next year the medical pot shops here in Washington will all be closed mostly to do with revenue.
It's clear the police are not interested in small time growers. I guess that could change.
I have no idea the prices of pot on the street or in the shops. From the news we know the pot shop weed is high quality and free of harmful chemicals or pests unlike what you may encounter on the street.
It's been 40 years that I tasted some.
Yeah, in California, a lot of cities have banned dispensaries, but not licensed growers. I suppose it depends on how the law is written. In San Diego, there were lawsuits and eventually, the city had to acquiesce and set up rules and issue licenses for dispensaries.

sounds rather totalitarian to me. Population is 77,000 BTW.
This will be in court in a heartbeat.
To bad so sad.
I'am sure any one that's smarter that the average bear will figure it out & not have a problem.
