1971 Miura.
Follow Ups:
I think it was the 'S' revision that was the FIRST street legal car I ever saw with a reported top speed exceeding 200mph.
Also:
If the photo doesn't LIE, I would NEVER park my valuable car in such a way that a brake or tranny issue could result in a roll-back OFF A CLIFF. At the very LEAST a couple tire chocks are called for.
Do I mis-read the photo?
Too much is never enough
I've been admiring the Miura since they came out, can't say there's another car I'd rather add to my imaginary collection.
Absolutely the ONLY aspect of the car that didn't immediately bowl me over.
Especially when they're up!Now that I think about it, I have never seen A Miura with its lights on.

Had an early '87 928 S4 and later on a euro '83 928 S. Loved them both, but would REALLY like to have another S4, GT, or GTS some day.
Mosquitoes and gnats were devilish that day at my cabin in the woods...
I had a 95 GTS back when I was living in VA Beach years ago, that was a fun car.
I'll bet it was, care to share any pics?
nope
With vacuum-operated flip covers for the headlights. Most system either failed after a couple of years, or only one headlight cover would flip. Kinda like the car was winking at you.
Not to mention the AWFUL 'sequential turn signals'
They, Too, failed shortly after the warranty ran out.
My GF of the time had one of those junkers. Overheat? yep. Poor electrics? Check Hard starting? Of course (at least until I replaced the CARB) And of course it 'winked' AND had messed up turn signals.
Too much is never enough
Miura... the greenhouse, beautiful car.
1961 250GT SWB Spyder.
