of old age. I get a lot of of typo's now on the laptop keyboard. I had to fix two on the first sentence of this post. Some are even getting past my editing stage. Oh well.

It's not old age (well, unless you're really old, as in fingers don't work, brain doesn't work, can't feed yourself, pee before you get out of bed, etc.), it's laptop keyboards.
Go dust off your old Smith Corona typewriter, and type "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog". I'm willing to bet that your typing is better than you think. Flat keyboards are not user-friendly.
(P.S.: Put paper in the typewriter first.)

roger that, laptop keyboards have always been more challenging but I think it is a combination of soldering/electronics and cooking that have desensitized my finger tips.
At least my eyesight is still good! Thanks for chiming in on the thread.
