The expression on the cat's face when came into view was priceless... wtf is going here?! ha ha!
also was a little bit surprised pilot wasn't wearing eye protection.
I have a highly suspicious mind, and I know it's probably unlikely, but... Could that video have been staged? Stuff the cat into the wing, position the camera just so , take the plane up for a flight and see what happens?
That video has had nearly 9 million views at this point. There's also a link in the description to the following site, which monetizes the licensing of the video to the hundreds of other web sites and TV broadcasts that have now shown the video.

The positioning of the camera is what has me most suspicious. Why is a camera recording the pilot and passenger of a flight to begin with? A dashcam in a ground vehicle is typically used for a) insurance purposes, or b) for creating videos for entertainment. And if you're going to record the cockpit, wouldn't you be recording the pilot working some controls? But we see none of that. Without the cat, it would just be headshots of two people in a plane. Why?? Then there's the perfect framing to view only that one wing opening.
You mention the pilot's lack of eye protection. Good call. The pilot's double-take wouldn't be nearly as convincing had he been wearing eye protection, especially sunglasses.
Then there's the passenger's almost total lack of a reaction. She doesn't even look up at the cat for a long period of time. Never even flinches.
Still kinda had its way with me, though!
Because cats can panic.
