Well we've turned things around. The Nats started the year w/o their first three batters in the 2014 lineup (Span,Rendon,Werth) and Rendon is still out. The starting pitching hasn't been as good as predicted but the offense has made up for that.
The Giants lost Pence their heart and soul w/Pagan as I see it. Some subs came through and the starting pitching has done well especially Tim Lincecum.
These are now the two hottest teams in the NL with the Nats taking first place from the Mets and the Giants just 1.5 games back after spanking the Dodgers.
Yes its early but it looks good.

over the Dodgers...just as sweet as can be...
Yes it was great. This is our personal thread as nobody else will likely reply. Crawford has totally come alive with the bat too. I knew you guys would compete I just thought it would be at least late July or even later before they got going.
Dodgers pitching and Kershaw are not right this year too. They'll probably spend more $$ and get Hammels from Philly.

vastly underrated early on has caught fire and when Posey comes to bat I put down my beer and lean forward. Pense being back has juiced the team and Belt is hitting with a vengeance. Aoki can surprise the shit out of a defense....the whole season will be great to watch and yep, I did not think they would tighten up until later in the season...just wow!
My hope is that midseason slump they had last year happened early in this season and was shorter in duration. They're playing excellent ball now.
See ya. Dave
