Pretty cool..

how do they work? or are they just some fancy tinted sunglasses that add color as I suspect? the problem of colorblindness, of course, is organic, in the cones in the retina. I'm kinda of a mid-level case. Red/green problems, like most people who are colorblind. It's the weak shades or even strong shades like red flowers in a field. Red berries on a bush. Pink, pale green are often just gray. A strawberry in front of my face tho, is red. Green traffic lights are often the same as the street lights nearby, so that can catch me off guard. I doubt those specs could fix any of that. But I'll try to find out more about them.
One other point: people who use red and green in charts, powerpoint presentations, safety warnings, etc are messing up. Using the 2 colors that a good fraction of the population have trouble with is a bad approach.
STan,
My understanding is that colorblind is a GENETIC problem primarily.
I'm told about 8% of MALES with Northern European Ancestry have a specific red/green deficiency.
Too much is never enough
I had not heard of them and was pleased to read some (potentially) good news.
Best, Craig
