Cool. kind of a Brit. invasion/surfer sort of, ah, something.
The video sucked.
They didn't have much imagination in those days - or video editing - or much budget.
I think they only had camera effects and maybe jump cuts if they could afford 2 cameras in the studio.
I still remember our ABC Television pop music show "Countdown".
In their early "live" recording days they would do the zoom-in-out-in-out and focus-blur-focus-blur - That was all they had. Sometimes the cameraman would pan the camera up to the coloured stage lights and spin a star filter on and then do the zoom in zoom out. Groovy!

Wonderful post. Many thanks for this one. I certainly enjoyed it. I do wonder though why it is that bass players are almost always pretty much ignored in video productions.

Thanks. I saw Bill last year with the Big Sur Quintet. A strange mixture IMO. I would have much preferred this combo.
