That statement is true. The team that won the toss in overtime won the game.
Although if you lived around these parts (Seattle area) ....... you might see it as I like to see it.

I do understand that. As a Saints fan that once won the toss and kicked a field goal in overtime to win just such a game to go on and win the big one (and caused them to change the overtime rules) I have been there.
I felt that we were fortunate to win that game. I felt that the Seahawks were fortunate today-that ridiculous 2 point play and then the toss. Enjoy. My theory is that to win the SB, requires both a good team and some lucky breaks. Maybe this is your year.
Eventually, they may need to amend the overtime rules again. It is a little unfair to the team that loses the toss.
Overtime should be another quarter with the winner being the team with the most points scored in those 15 minutes. This "first score wins" rule let's luck play too big a part.

reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
And God forbid it would be tied at the end of another 15.
It sometimes takes the Mets 15 to 17 innings to lose a game.
