Thanks for the pix. I'm in NYC on business pretty regularly; actually was across the street from the VV about two months ago with one of my daughters. Unfortunately for me, two of my kids live in L.A. and the 3rd is overseas in the Peace Corps.

you favor NYC over LA?
I do, but I don't dislike LA. Too many excellent museums, architecture to experience not to love it. Plus, most times of the year, the weather obviously trumps Gotham...
I spent a summer in LA in 1969, working the night shift in the Dolly Madison Cakes factory on Figueroa Street. I did not like it much then, and still don't, having returned many times because I had a daughter in college at USC and then both of them living there.
NYC is more interesting, although the price of housing is insane.
that son in NY just moved back to the states this past year after living in India and Bangladesh for the last several years. Glad he's as close as NY, at least, now. And it's a nice place for me to visit.
Well, one of my buddies from high school has two daughters: one in Los Angeles and one in New York.
He just retired, and he and his wife are moving to Florida.
As for me, I think my "Peace Corps daughter" is likely to end up somewhere on the East Coast, if not in DC . . . unless she joins the Foreign Service or something similar.
I haven't seen you here for awhile. I'm not around here much either lately, but nice to hear from you.
