I posted on getting basic DirecTV a couple of months ago after being TV-less for about 2 years. I wanted to watch Nat's games, Redskin's games, TCM and Cartoon Network mainly. After having it for a little while now I am surprised at how awful just about all the other cable channels are. I almost never watch anything there.
However the 3 months free HBO/Showtime is going to create a problem. Just the various series on these like "Getting On", "Homeland", Bill Maher and John Oliver, "Hello Ladies" and more that I'm forgetting will be tough to give up. United Sates of Tara (reruns from 2009 I never saw) and some of the other repeating series are great too.
I guess that's why they give the "trial". Well, I'm not going to bite, I'm too cheap.

They throw out a LOT of entertainment for $10/mth. The cost of one movie ticket at the local megaplex, sans popcorn/Coke. I think it's one of the entertainment bargains of our lifetime, especially when you add in the 3 or 4 decent movies they show/mth.

I think its more than 10 by a good bit and yes The Comeback should have been on the list.
