Yes. I added a parser to take the current, iframe version of the embed code on Youtube and extract the data and convert it to the old embed code that uses an object call.
Just copy and paste.

The size is totally wrong if you just use the share link. My parser does it properly using the embed code from Youtude.
See the difference?

I am confused. I used the linky under the video and tried the EMBED code. It does not give up a postable code. Only the SHARE option does. Folks can always hit the full screen button to see it large...
I get this when I used the EMBED code...hopefully the link will show you what EMBED gets me
EDIT, nope it disappeared...
Anyway your tech explanation has me baffled....

The link does only work with shared code, not embeded. To get the shared code to look right, you have to change the size parameter. Basically, it's a half assed utility.
My hack uses the actual Youtube embed code and you just paste it over here and it work right because I get the size parameter from the Youtube embed code.
Just try doing Share, Embed and paste it here.

and all is peaceful now!
I found it necessary to select the old style embedded code.

That's the problem. Google took away the old embed code check box.

Went to Google. Found only one form of embed code. It seems to work.

Prior to adding my hack, you would have gotten an error message that iframes aren't allowed. I added a parser to convert the iframe call to the old object embed code. It will only work properly for youtube videos.
Otherwise, iframes still aren't allowed.
