Florida Sate, the most south east member of the ACC. So if the playoff started today we'd have some unhappy folk here. I'm not emotionally invested in any college team so I don't care how it ends up and I feel it will be all but impossible to choose four correctly.
It won't mean much to me until it's a 16 team bracket. And don't forget these games can start in early December and don't have to be on Saturday or Sunday.

Follow Ups:
I think when this new playoff format was introduced we all suspected that expansion would happen quickly. Not yet, but I expect an 8-team cut to be announced within 2 years. And then it still won't be enough because of single conference domination.
But this isn't basketball. Expansion levels can't go beyond a lesser point, whatever that may be. These games are costly in ways other than monetary. The NCAA is instituting controls to get more emphasis back on the student aspects. The season is already very long.
I'm just reinforcing that. Some people here need help. Some thought Kirk Cousins was a winner : ) just kidding!

And he did. But he just kept traveling.
He did have some good games and amazing plays. That team needs more help in a lot of places though. Rogers, Brady, Breeze would all be sub 500 here in my opinion.
Nice win for Colt and the Skins the other night. I listened to it on a portable Zenith Trans Oceanic from my campsite.
LOL, it does use 9 D batteries and weighs a ton for sure! A luxury car camping can accommodate.

losses for the other teams are possible, as well. Way too early to start celebrating...

It's entirely possible (but far from fair) that the SEC will only have 1, yes 1, in the tourney depending on how the regular season plays out, i.e., 'bama loses to LSU, beats Miss st and beats auburn, 2 losses for auburn and 'bama, miss st loses to bama and ole miss and Ole Miss loses to Auburn, 2 losses for both Missipissis, and then some 2 loss West team beats Georgia. That'll leave Miss st, 'bama, Georgia, Auburn, LSU and Ole Miss with 2 losses. No way 2 are gonna go to the show.

That would be a real hoot.
I was surprised the Ole Miss is still up there after losing to a barely ranked LSU. And I surely don't understand how the AP and USA Today polls have 'Bama at #4 when they lost to Ole Miss which fell to #7 or #9 depending on the the poll. It seems like 'Bama should have dropped to #10 or thereabouts.
Still, either Auburn or Alabama will definitely be a 2 loss team and I wouldn't be surprised if both are and one of them might even be a 3 loss team.
Mississippi St is still my favorite of the bunch, but they have road games with 'Bama and Ole Miss, so they could be a 2 loss team too.
Georgia could be the big spoiler which would knock out all of the SEC West you'd think.

fast approaching. Dak Prescott runs too much; in a conference with all big hitters, that's not a sustainable plan.
SEC has 3-5 teams in it.

2 loss SEC teams in an 8-team situation similarly would lose out to one loss teams, I'd think.

I certainly wasn't celebrating I did say I have no stake in the game if you will. And yes of course there will be changes in the end. Somehow market size, or lack of, of a given team will play a role. Money talks.............
