Do you realize you indeed cannot stick to the topic?
There is NO objective reason for the SEC teams to have received their early season rankings.
Then, when they lose to each other, they still retain inflated rankings.
That's pretty easy to understand.
You should also remember that SEC conference officials prohibit SEC teams from playing PAC ones in the post season bowl games. Do you wonder why? You should.

The SEC is best again this year without question. As I've noted, the pac-12 has underperformed; likewise the Big 12. The Big 10 remains shaky. That leaves the SEC. Get over it.
