w/out the SEC playing PAC teams during the regular season, it is impossible to tell, all you have is circumstantial evidence.
If OR or ASU make it to the playoffs, we'll get some answers for this year.
You know, for your "math" to be accurate, the Ducks would have had to have been blown out by its last 3 SEC rivals. We barely lost to Auburn--- our kicker choked on that chip shot to end the game; we lost a close one to the Tigers thanks to several brilliant plays by Tyrann Mathieu.
VERY close games, both of them. Yeah, we lost, but it's hard to make your claim on two very close contests.

Not really that close :)
I'll give ya the Auburn game. That was a close one. Your Ducks are at least competitive on the big stage, they just need to take the next step. Y'all kill those pesky Bears this weekend!

will show up for the Duckies? Last week's was ferocious. Our O line was vicious; one of the top players in the nation, Shaq Thompson (a guy who considered us until the last minute….), twice was pancaked on TD runs by the same lineman. Also, another super-recruit, Budda Baker, was absolutely flattened by a TE stiff-arm on a long run. Very satisfying.
We could take the "next step" this year.
Something to consider: Marcus has another year of eligibility. He's such a strange guy I think it really is possible he'll stay. That would be serious stuff...
little fellow. ~:)
reappear. If the D indeed goes absent, CAL has the weapons to make it a basketball game.
CA lost a hail mary game ender, earlier, and another w/a failed FG. They're better than they look. And that number 3 offense is for real. Watch the game and see.
overrated Pac-12 team. ~:)
were injured in a two-week period. A walk-on and a true freshman were forced into tough games. So, the team that beat Michigan State wasn't fielding anywhere near the same offense. What does that have to do with the defense, you ask? Well, the D got no rest since there were so many 3-and-outs.
Anyhow, I think the Ducks certainly were overrated, but that win over MI was for real.
They dismantled good UCLA and WA teams.
Now, the Ducks are healthy. This game will be interesting to see; has the D jelled? We both know that's really what wins games.
it's obvious the Bears will be in for a very, very, LONGGGGGGGGG evening.\\Ducks by 35pts
