Now, no one is arguing SEC has, consistently, produced 1 or 2 great teams. It's the rest of the conference that's suspect. Until the top PAC teams regularly play top SEC teams, all discussion is philosophical. Granted, OR did lose to both AU and LSU: but one was the top team in the nation and the other was close to it. At the same time, there were other worthy PAC teams, too.

Our 1 big loss was a gift, by the cross eyed referees, to USC back in 1979. One of the worst calls in college football history.
