The Cards made some bad moves last night but it didn't matter they weren't going to win the game or the series. Stupid to remove Wainwright, worse to bring in Wacha. Pinch hitting the lefty would surely spell the removal of Casilla who was in trouble.
The Giants hit no home runs the first four games then three last night.
Their relievers have a allowed 7 home runs in only about 35 innings. Terrible BUT those are the only runs they allowed! This is surely a record. Runners are oh for w/RISP against them this whole post season, and then it's only oh for seven. A bullpen ERA just under 2.00 which is good not great.
KC has been equally or more bizarre in many ways in their road this year. I can't help but think the post season has given all it can to the fans and this series will be lackluster and one sided. I have no idea who might win.
Clearly the Giants will be favored. KC made their run against teams that haven't done anything the last many years. Now to see what happens.......
And Larry your braggadocia could use a chill pill, it's a bit Bryce Harper-like and we know what a punk he is.

Follow Ups:
Not that it really matters but you have to remember that the Royals swept the Giants in August.
St Louis has the best record in the majors since LaRussa left, they made it to the world series once and lost and made it to the NLCS twice and lost. No other team has come close to their achievement in the last three years except the Giants.
The Cards had lots of injuries this year including Molina, their heart and soul for almost half the season. Their bullpen wasn't nearly as good as in the past either. I don't put those things on the manager.

I have every right to brag about their accomplishment. Sorry that it p[ushes the wrong button...Go Giants
