I cannot help myself when a discussion about Russia comes up.
Maybe i'm taking myself too seriously here. It's not my friggin forum afterall. I'm not a moderator or the owner or the Bored. But I miss the old Central when the WC and Outside existed for these kinds of threads, which kept them out of here.

I have no problem with you recommending a book, but I don't think Russia's performance in WWI, when it was in upheaval internally and very reluctantly participating in a war that it wanted no part of, is of any particular relevance to Putin's Russia today.
Looks like an interesting book though.

It's just his personal opinion after all and I don't think this reflects the overall Russian people's behavior. In any case, I'm still waiting to read your review of the Krell Foundation system.
