once you call them for the turn on sequence. I am pedaling a Ford Focus ST slightly modified for a tad more power. Much faster and better handling than my Lotus Cortina was back in the day when it was a fast sedan.
Follow Ups:
Lots of power. How's the turbo boost? Fairly smooth?
with as little lag as I have ever felt. Ford did a remarkable job on tuning the suspension to enable oversteer rather than that uncomfortable and pussified understeer. The gear box is very quick and as aggressively as I drive it, I get 29.4 MPG and half of my trips to town include a climb to 4000 feet. On the freeways at 72MPH I get close to 32MPG
It is an amazing drive ...especially in Sport mode. Track mode is very assertive. And the Recaro seats, uncomfortable for some folks but for me they are perfect.
The question one must ask is '''would I buy another one"...my answer is ...in a heartbeat.
You have manual tranny or paddle?
on the floor. My son has an Audi S4 with that paddle shift. That car shifts FAST.

at the dealers. Not sure what it is, but it is synth.
I run Mobil1 in my Honda Element.
As for 'synthetic'? I think M1 is STILL all group 5 base stock. The FTC allows modified Dyno oil to be called 'Synthetic'.
It's YOUR call.
Too much is never enough
Sorry - I've been away from internet access aside from my phone.
I haven't put a lot of miles on it since I got it in late April, and it had a fresh oil change at the time. I won't run anything other than full synthetic in any case...I have no plans to ever sell this car. The last car I switched to full synthetic at just under 100K I gave to my daughter with 224K, and it still doesn't burn a drop at last check - 235K.
I'll take it in for winter prep soon. I was thinking of putting Amsoil in it. I know that Driver's a big fan of that oil.
How are you liking the S2K? I'm thinking it's enough fun to be illegal (I know - it is, if you drive it anywhere close to its capabilities.) It's hard to drive it without getting a grin on your face, and no bugs in your teeth even if it is a four-wheel motorcycle.
Enjoy it! I sure as hell am!
As the video below sez: "Smiles per gallon." Car has outstanding handling response and the nicest little V-TEC kick in the pants. Kinda reminds me of an old Porsche 911S (1970). With those Weber down-draft carbs. Power kicks in a big hurry and revs to infinity.Still learning quick shift. Fun car!

Let's see it.
Interestingly, I rarely push the car, except to pass. Downshift to third and you're gone...
Even if I shift at 5K, I still have a grin on my face that would have to be surgically removed.
The trouble with the S-2000 was that if you kept it under 6500 or 7000 revs, it was really not much faster, if at all, than many other cars.
Once you got 'on cam', however, the car was entirely different. The HP curve from 6500 to redline was VERTICAL.
Drive it like you stole it.
Too much is never enough
And not rear-end someone. Fun car, anyhow.
Many happy miles with yours.
