I've never understood the attraction to coffee. It tastes horrible, has no nutrition, stains your teeth, irritates the digestive system, etc., but mostly it tastes horrible. Tried it a couple of times decades ago, at the suggestion of friends. Yuck. Never again. And then, there are people who "need" their coffee/caffeine fix in order to, in their usual words, "get started in the morning". Sad. All I need to "get started in the morning" is a good night's sleep and to not eat a big meal late in the evening. I don't need, or want, to be hopped up on some stimulant to get me through the day.On the upside, if it's hot and you happen to spill it on yourself at a McDonald's, you can make a whole bunch of money.
Edit: After posting, now an animated ad for Nespresso came up. F-ing crap.

Its an aquired taste for sure. I like it; started drinking coffee back in the hospital night shift era. Whether I like it as an addiction or taste is a blurry line, as is the definition itself.
But whatever reason, I enjoy black coffee. The thought of adding cream and sugar to 2 cups per day raises all kinds of red danger flags.
you are lucky. I can't function without coffee in the morning. it is addiction. There's a great show documentary which aired on CNBC called "The Coffee Addiction" you should check it out, pretty good story CNBC put together. I put the link below if you are interested.
