A few years ago, driving along an urban-ish highway, out of the blue came a swarm of bees - I'm talkin' hundreds - and crashed into our car's windshield. Never saw anything like it before or since. We had to exit as soon as possible to clean them off - the wipers just smeared them around! Unbelievable.

It's a real treat. You keep your mouth shut when you're paddling on the river at those times too.

I wore a full-face helmet when I rode. Some of the bugs I took off the faceshield could have been birds from the impact they made.
