But in retro, they were great compared to what happened the following decade.
Music-wise, I can't remember anything memorable. I quit listening to most rock by then, switched to jazz.

Not sure what set those other fellahs off on this one, but anyway.
Interesting about switch over to Jazz in the 1990s - that's what I did too, but not until about 1998. And Jazz is about 75% of what I listen to now.
Before that, my favorite 1990s band by far was and still is Cake. Awesome group. And I liked other stuff like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam Nirvana, Smashmouth. Even some of the loud craziness by groups like Limp Bizkit and Lo Fidelity Allstars gave me a kick.
