I'm no collector, just went to the bank looking for $2 Dollar Bills and Susan B. Anthonys to hand out to the grandkids Monday night. Young teller had to be told about Susan B. Anthony but she showed me the new President Dollars. Pretty neat with writing engraved on the edges and nice big carvings. President on one side, Statue of Liberty on t'other.
Speaking of Twos, how come Hamilton, who couldn't shoot, got the Ten and Jefferson, who could, so to speak, only got the Deuce?
Follow Ups:
I read where it costs more to make one than they're worth, which inspired the $1 coin: it will survive in circulation much longer then paper will. The treasury should just stop with the $1 bill and replace it with the $2 bill and $1 coin immediately.

the quarter and $1 coin I get confused when they are in my pocket, make the $1 coin shaped like a pyramid it will be better.
I've never understood why the 50 cent coin is so much bigger than the $1 coin. And a dime is smaller than a penny. Doesn't seem fair.
Oh well, it doesn't matter - our money isn't worth anything anyway. The first time I went to Switzerland in the early 1970s, the Dollar would get you about 3.5 Swiss Francs. Now, you get about ONE Franc per Dollar. On the upside, it makes the currency conversion math a lot easier.
:)
I don't know about this: "Presidents must be deceased for two years before they are eligible."
I guess they just want to be sure...
How about cars?
What a "coin"-nee-kee-dink!

Thanks for starting my morning off with a laugh!
we don't even have an honest penny made of copper anymore, because that would be 7 cents.
no thanks,
Franklin is on the $100 bill, the new $1...
