Congratulations, and thanks for your service, anyway!

I feel the same way about the importance of my time on active duty (USAF). It shaped me, and continues to influence my life on a daily basis... not in the least part because I met and married my wife while we were on active duty!

I've seen so many marriages fail that started with a service-related connection. Young kids away from home for the first time and fall for the first person that pays attention to them. Tough way to spend an enlistment.
