Hi.
I looking for datasheet for this discontinued MagneQuest transformer.
It's 7K used in 6L6 SE amps.
I thinking about use this transformer with triode wired 814.
B+ will be around 600VDC with three 12V acids for bias.
Thanks for any help and suggestion.

Hi John:I can't remember ever making an FS-070. Are you sure you have the part number correct or is my memory REALLY failing me at a relatively young age?
If you don't have any paperwork for your trans... and your not sure of the model number.... you can with care take off the bell end covers and on 99 percent of all the tranneys I've ever made... I have written the model number on the primary side of the coil.
another quick question or two... does it have brass hardware?
another question... how many leads does it have on each side of the transformer.
this may help me play detective... but taking off the covers should yield you the model number if it's ours.
Mikey, Others; This is a 60ma/6K huge a$$ tranny that I used in the 807 amplifier in the early sp years.
Not some of my better work even though it did sound pretty good.
Mike,
I will contact with you after Oct.9 and give you all details.
Trafos are on the way to Europe now.
I get 6970 ohm on primary after I hook 2.5V to 16 ohm secondary.
Yes trafos has brass screw and if I remember correctly only
one wire color on secondary is difference then FS-030.
I will open it and tell you what I found written on coil.
Trafos is little heavier then FS-030.
John
