Mike asked me to post these. They're custom built DS-025s for Don Garber of Fi fame.

i am..for some reason reminded of a 1951 chevrolet 3100 flat bed farm truck...a totally cool era for truck design...must be the mix of steel bell ends with the green lambs...
Were are the pretty brass bell ends???
J. Gordon Rankin
Hi Gordon:
Don's never been a big fan of the solid brass bell ends and has pretty much consistently preferred and spec'd steel bell ends. We had an earlier group of steel bell ends in this size that had been powdercoated in a really neat color called "weathered copper"--- but this neat hue disappeared when (yet another) our powdercoater went out of biz--- Garb loved these weathered copper color covers. So I suggested that we try (for the contrast) the Hunter Green lams with black covers--- the opposite of the weathered copper with black lams.
It's part of what makes this fun.
