I run a pair of these in my reference system. Powered by an MQ PGP 8.1 power trans (center) feeding a CLC filter containing our made for Bottlehead by MagneQuest RGC-6 filter mounted under the chassis. Circuit is a parafeed 300B driven by a an active loaded shunt regulator feeding a C4S'd 6N1P. Plate choke (left) is the MQ BPC (Brainiac Plate Choke, named for my parter Paul "Brainiac" Joppa) with custom polished and lacquered brass bell ends. Output trans (right) is one of Mike's best, an all permalloy MQ TFA-2004, again with custom polished brass bell ends.Coupling caps in this one are Auricaps, and I'll probably upgrade the interstage coupling cap to a V-Cap. Filaments are choke filtered DC. B+ rectification is snubbered ultrafast rectifiers, DC rectification uses Schottkys. There are two startup relays, one for B+ delay and one which grounds the OT primary to avoid magnetization of the sensitive nickel core during the startup pulse. Tubes are low noise 6N1ps and early production Valve Art Titanium mesh plate 300Bs with gold plated copper bases.
Chassis plates were machined by Front Panel Express and powder coated in Copper Vein by Kitsap Powder Coating. The beautifully figured birdseye maple base was crafted by Lew Hardy of Vivaldi Audio.
Designed by PJ, built by me, they are about 8W output, and dead quiet. I think the last t shirt I got from you was about ten years ago, bro. I wore it til it was full of holes. Then it was retired to tube polishing duties before expiring. I take a large ;^)>.

That is one serious amp! Beautiful, classic and what would appear to be all the bells and whistles. I bet it sounds even more fantastic than it looks, if that is possible. Doc you set a high mark to shoot for. I would think this would qualify for a couple of "T"'s , you know the Queen would probably like one too!
