Thanks for the url. I had seen this calculator last eveing when I did a google search but was not sure it was the correct one to use.
I am using the first calculator on the page you reference--- and the one to the left in that box.
Here are some example results... tell me if I'm doing this right.
I'm using as instructed the minus signs....
-20db = 10%
-26db = 5%
-30db = 3.16%
-40db = 1%
-46db = .5%
If I'm doing this right I wanted to go into the WE published table of recommended operating conditions and convert from db to percentages.
I think most people can moreso relate to or "get ahold" of percentages as opposed to using DB language.

Yes, you are using it correctly.
I think converting the WE table for easier understanding is a great idea.
I'm sure many will find it helpful.

I'll run through and convert all the db quantities to percentages.
Once done I'll make the table available through several different
locations (url's).
