Return to K&K Audio / Lundahl Transformers

Hi Kevin
On your website you list the data sheet for the 1688 but you don't
list a price. Is this transformer still available? If so what is the price?

I can get the LL1688, but I don't recommend it for new designs. With a high impedance triode like an 845, there will be a roll-off above 15KHz or so. The LL1691 or LL1691B is a better choice for the sorts of tubes that you might use such a transformer for.

OK, I guess I can cross off the 1688. I looked at the 1691, but, ouch.
Beautiful transformers but I don't need 30 watts SE.
Looking again at the data sheets the LL9202 seems to fit my needs perfectly.
100H @ 50mA.
So... what do you think of the 9202?
Cal
For low-power SE amps, the LL9202/50mA used with an 11K primary works very well.

How about with the 23K primary? Will it start getting into roll off
problems?
Cal
Yes, there is likely to be some roll-off below 20KHz, but not so much as with the LL!688. How many of us can actually here a 16KHz tone at any where near the same threshold as a 1KHz tone?

My hearing doesn't go anywhere near 16KHz anymore so I don't
see that as being a problem :)
Thanks Kevin for your input it is very much appreciated.
