Hi KevinC
Thank you for your answer.
As I know the 833A tube need high current at grid no much voltage swing like 845.
It seems the 833A Wavac used 6L6 drive by IT impedance 5k at Pri. and ratio 1:0.5,
So I thought to pararell at Sec for go to A2 easily.
If i do this. Is the the impedance at Pri around 6K and ratio as 1:1 ?
How about lose some high frequency response that you mean is below 20 kHz or not?
Thank you
Tan

Sorry for the delayed reply...
It's more useful to think about the drive impedance of the tube/IT combination than of the IT impedance itself. The plate impedance of a 6L6 is something like 1K; the IT primary resistance adds about 300ohms to that; and the secondaries paralleled (1:1 overall) add another 400ohms, so the driving impedance for the stage will be be something like 1700ohms. If you are intending to run the 833 into grid current (A2) to get more power than A1, this is not really a low enough drive impedance. You will need a different IT, something more like the LL1671 connected 4:2, as in the Wavac amp IT.
