LL1694 Filament choke when the two coils connected in parallel is rated 40mH @ 3A, saturation current 4.8A.
Any problem that may arise if i were to run them at 4A (6.3V or 7.5V respectively) for the filament of the tubes 811A or 808 transmitter triode?
The better thing to do would be to ask Lundahl to gap the LL1694 for 4A of current by "special order", which will, of course, reduce the inductance proportionally. However, the inductance is already considerably higher than the critical inductance, so that shouldn't be a problem.
