Some of the Celestion drivers have such short threaded sections they will not work on some horns (leaves a cavity at the throat).
Many drivers have 0.7" exits, causing distortion below 1Khz under higher power.
EV 1829 has a 1.2" throat.

I could not get the PRV 250ph to thread on the Cobraflex, an adapter, nor one Gollehon horn. I put a lot of torque trying to get it on the Cobraflex and it did not want to come off - ruined the first 2 or 3 threads.seems like I saw some cheap diaphragms on Ebay which would fit 1823 - ah
