I use vott 828 cabinets with 416a and multicell horns with 299 drivers.
It takes little work to things right, I have a ppsl sub and am now starting fiddle about with tweeters. I am super happy and can't myself dumping the anytime soon.
And in a small but we'll treated room.

Yes
It took a lot of work to get Fulton Js up and running well but Bob Fullton was accessible for the most part. The A7s took a bit as well they were very nice.
It's not unusual to find ESL and Horn owners with both speaker types.I have both types and I love openness in a loudspeaker. These are my subs..I actually have a pair of these I use with the CLXs. There are three 10 inch woofers in each and I could have gotten away with just one but I wanted better placement and I got them at dealer cost.
They have 350 watt amp in them but from 55cps to 100cps on down, they work perfectly.

I owned a pair of Martin Logan Arieus for over 10 years and still pine for them at times.
The other day I was wondering what an esl paired with a good bass horn or 828 could sound like. Crazy efficiency differences would be complcated.

Sooner or later I am going to need a pair of subs that integrate well with horns.
100Hz and down but not head-banging down as I listen to acoustic not electronic music.
That's a Martin Logan Descent...I have two of them.I got them in 2004 and there are three woofers in each one which the woofers are made in Denmark along with the amp.
