The sad fact is that there is no one in the US capable of doing the repairs who is willing to do the work commercially. You either need to ship them back to England, or get the parts from Lowther and DIY.
If you search on the web, you will still be able to find my Maintenance sheet for repair of Lowthers. Suggest that you download that.

Any opinion of the eBay seller " Lowther_Voigt " who sells surrounds and offers his service to make the repair?
Good guy. I have his surrounds & suspensions, they work like originals. Have sent customers to him in the past, and have never heard any complaints.

Hi Jon. What is so special with the surrounds that any good
re-foamer can't handle?. That's all he wants done I beleive.
Mark
Hi Mark:
The surrounds and suspension are made of the same material, you need to replace both at the same time. The suspension is critical. Those who have tried to replace them with generic parts often end up with a higher Fs, and tilted response as a result.

Thanks for all the input.
I did see a couple ebay listing for foam.
I am sure I could refoam them, with some practice on a cheep driver.
idlers and tubes....life is good
Maybe, but looks risky for beginner because may not be
possible to shim coil with phase plug. The gap is probably narrower than
a typical driver too. I have ways to center without shims
and get 100% good results. I usually shim when possible.
