Anyone out there been wanting to try the Frugal Horn Lite? It's well documented on Planet 10's Frugal Horn site. It's been built stock using the GR Research LGK full range driver. I'm keeping the drivers and Linaeum tweeters but would like to find someone in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas to pass these on to. Shipping will be a pain. A few weeks ago I offered some DIY cabinets for Elac B5 on Speaker Asylum and no one took me up on them so off to Goodwill they went. Let me know. Thanks.

Too late. They went to Goodwill on Saturday. Sorry.
Hi Tubav!
I'm curious, how sensitive are your Linaeum tweeters? What frequency do you cross them in at? What XO slope are you using and finally where did you purchase the Linaeum tweeters?
TIA

I got the tweeters on a pair of Optimus LX5 I bought in my neighborhood for $7.00. The foam surrounds on the woofers were shot and so I just kept the Linaeum. If I remember correctly the Optimus XO was first order with a
1 mh inductor and 6.2 uf cap. So I went with a 6.2 to protect the tweeter.
There's actually a mod on the internet with a completely re-designed XO for the LX5. I didn't want to spend the money on a $7.00 pair of speakers.
The Linaeum sound pretty good.
