Do you have any idea what drivers are used and what their approximate frequency response is? Also how do they sound? Will they replace your ---{ I have no idea what you use }--- present speakers?

These are JBL PD5922 64 which JBL provides detailed specs.
My quick dirty pink noise RTA measurements show a very smooth response from an honest 40 hz in room to12Khz. The benefitis that they maintain very good off access response 300hz on up.
They sound surprisingly pleasant. Excellent punch. Full size no compromised vocals. Johnny Cash, Tom Waits, never sounded better in my room.
Wonderful! Sounds like you made a great buy. I hope you enjoy the heck out of them!
I'm listening to: One More Once by Michel Camilo

To answer your other question...
My other speakers are DIY with AE TD15S woofers and Faital 140\142 drivers and horn crossed at 800hz. This pair has deeper bass, 24hz in room. and a wider sound stage. The JBL has more impact, and better vocal articulation.
I go to church every Sunday but am yet to get a gift from heaven.
Enjoy
