Double check GPA, but IIRC the 21184 and suffixes were 416-8B. It's been so long since I rotated my four mid 50's 515Bs, I don't recall what's stamped on them.
Note too that these driver's specs changed over the decades due to cost cutting and as amp output impedance dropped to insignificant amounts and it's my understanding based on others experience posted on the Altec User's Board that if I wanted mine re-coned to original specs, GPA can't do it for lack of parts.

Yes the numbers on the cones are original 21184 is the right cone for 515b but my question is
do the different lot numbers 21184- 1,2,3 sound different?
or not?
Hmm, I don't remember mine being this number, but in doing a '21184', 'post', search returned enough posts to confirm that at some point later in time than mine there was some consolidation plus with some suffixes added, so to answer your Q, do the same forum search to sort it all out or at least allow you to more narrowly define any remaining Qs to the more knowledgeable folks here: http://www.hostboard.com/forums/f700/altec-users-board.html
