I am sure that Klipsch will be happy to sell you a resin cast K701 horn and a K79 tweeters if that is what you want but I can assure you that there are many suprior horns available which surpass the K701 by a very wide margin. A larger horn will perform much better the K701 is a very old and tired design my today's standards. If you want to stay Klipsch then the mid horn used in the KLF20 and 30 is a much better sounding choice and combine that with a K79 which is a nice tweeter. The Crites design that I directed you to is a superior loudspeaker to the three way Heresy and is the same overall size with the same woofer but uses a better horn and driver and has one less crossover section to have to listen to the effects of. The larger you make the mid horn the better. A CF3/4 horn would be close in size and performance to the Faital Pro horn that Bob uses and it has a standard female one inch screw on throat. That horn is the very best and largest wide range small format (one inch) horn that Klipsch makes.
If you simply want a Heresy then just buy a used set of Heresy ll and be done with it, you can't buy the parts and build them for less than a the cost of a used pair.Attached a pic of how I retro braced my Klipsch H3 with 3/4" white Oak.

Hear you James, thank you.
What I like to achieve is a good high SPL/sensitivity 2c/f sealed monitor.
I'm in Australia, buying a secondhand Heresy or LaScala, Cornwall is not as easy as in the USA...
So, I'm looking for a poor-man's option... I can get Eminence woofers and build one up. Did design and made speakers before...low SPLs... boring.
For the mid perhaps a 3D printed Tractrix horn would be good...and have it a 2way...(what motor?)
What you think?
Cheers,
Mike
hello Mike: being in 0z does put a bit of a twist on things, bugger. If you contact Bob Crites he will send you the T/S paramaters for the K22 woofer Klipsch use. That way you can source a locally available woofer that will do the job properly. You have to realize that without a boat load of after the fact work you are not going to get a lot of deep bass out of a Heresy. That may or may not be a problem for you, that's for you to decide. However when setting up the speaker to achieve good stage and image you need to set the centre of the mid horn at your seated ear level to achieve best results. That means it will be up around 39 inches up off the floor give or take. So if you put your Heresy up on stands as I do that's not a problem, my stands are four post about 22 inches tall. If you would like to generate some bass you might just as well build a box under your heresy and use that volume to generate some bass response (that is what a Forte is). go back and have a good look at the Bob Ctites link I gave you he has plans. You can see what drivers Bob uses. Check out what Faital Pro goes for where you are, Selenium is now owned by JBL so it is likely available down under. Used EV DH1506 is an killer world class one inch exit wide range driver you may be able to find used have a look.
