are there bypass caps which enhance a typical KBG cap's sound?

Freddy,
What are you looking to achieve? Bass, Mid or Treble? Hi pass or Low pass? KBGs are really quite nice and tend to standalone well. They are my "Go To" PIO caps both for Xovers and amplification. I did try K40's and Pyramid PIO's on a treble hi pass with good results. IIRC, the KBG was 2uf and I bypassed with .022uF. I tried to bypass the mid low pass KBG on my 3 way EV horns. Listened to several iterations....no audible effect.
Cheers,
Geary
hi Geary - mainly hipass in coaxial application. If one is using say 3.3uF highpass cap, what range of values would you recommend for a K40 bypass cap? Have you ever charge coupled your KBGs? I'm not sure what to find to make a nice 3.3uF main cap.
Best,
Freddy

silly question but wasn't there some serious discussion a few years back on how Bypassing xover caps led to bad results like audible ringing?
