I "think" he already owns them.
Coner, everything that says Western Electric on it is worth big money, regardless if it is inherently valuable to HiFi.
Telecommunications enthusiasts also collect WE as well as Northern Electric, so even things relating to telephones are worth money.
Those horns look similar to Western Electric 713A but are missing the ring on top and seem to have a different hole arrangement where the CD attaches.
From that point of view, they might be Altec. (If that is what you are asking)
That is my uneducated guess.

I didn't catch that.I would sell them and buy some of the newer less expensive Altec and pocket the difference (if you like that horn).
They're OK (if you get them cheap enough).
A friend is scrapping a pair Altec Model 15 cabinets that are beyond repair (and the woofers are shot too). If anyone wants those horns (or the alnico compression drivers) I'll provide contact details.

Well, not looking for much in horns...maybe a single EV HP9040
or a single JBL 2395 Lens,(big lens, orig. grey.)
Need singles for JBL 2360a and 2365a.
Hey Coner-
I've got a pair of HR 90s that I'll let go of relatively cheap since you're in the neighborhood. I also have some 32Cs en route for a 2 way rig I'm building up with 414Zs, and you're welcome to come and hear them late next week.

The big 9040? About as large as the 2360.
If I get a pair, I still have a single ;-/
No, mine are the baby white whales:)
Which have the same Di at 500hz that an Altec 311-90 does. With an LR24 you can cross them lower than 800hz.
