I'd like to have low cabinet "talk" at low to high (100W+ peak) input power. Should central back panel to back chamber braces be employed and if so, should they have a large window area? - multiple holes? - how about the lid? - is it counterproductive to go 5/8" vs 3/4" BB trying to save a bit of weight? I can feel some back (unbraced) panel flex on my little K's made of 5/8" BB.

Yes, brace back to horn interior.
Just make the top double thick.
You can use a D120, or a jbl 2206 12".... A very nice overlooked driver.

PS no stuffing
Bill Fitzmaurice's designs prove you can build just about anything out of 5/8" with the proper construction techniques and bracing. Usually there is no need for bracing "windows" except to reduce weight.
What about a B&C 12pe32?
What's the upper crossover point?
Thanks
I like the smaller size and simplicity.
How low would it go sitting on top of subwoofers 60cm to 1 m off the floor in a large room away from walls?
I'm looking more for a mid-bass "hit box" than bass bin.
Thanks!!

thanks! - according to hornresp kludge, Kappa12a would work in a pinch (?) can the trapezoid braces be solid w/o holes/windows? - I assume needs also to run to the bottom.

No holes, but connect it to the bottom.
We never used this box, but I was surprised how smooth and how high it went.
Of course the is zero directivity.
Let me know how you make out.
