John I have some questions for you about the Iwata's, ok?
--How do you like these Iwata horns?
--What kind of soundstage do they throw?
--How far do you have to sit from them to listen to them properly?
--Are there many horn colorations & are they easily heard?
Thanks my friend! I'll be looking forward to your future posts about these TAD/Iwata combination.

Fairly easy to integrate the Iwata or other radial types with a front horn midbass. If time arrivals right vert the soundstage at 6-8 ft is near seamless and horns just disappear. If times off you will hear a forward type of sound and can tell that systems made of parts not a whole. The Autotech iwata's very heavy and inert it's low in coloration like most radials are. To me its just another tool to make a fine loudspeaker with. Lots of ways to skin the audio cat and design should depend on end goal and use. This Im working out for nearfield use thus its usable in nearfield if I set it up for far field or SPL reinforcement I would alter setup.
John,
When you said; " This Im working out for nearfield use thus its usable in nearfield if I set it up for far field or SPL reinforcement I would alter setup. " Are you referring to the speaker behind your dog?

Took much work they sat for 30 years in a field.
Hi Kloss,
How does the TAD sound on the Iwata horn ? I always wondered if that combination was a good choice. Thanks.
So far good sounding but I haven't had it set up long enough to form a complete opinion.
