What you describe is the Xover, not the horn/driver. This is nominally 800Hz/8ohm. A guess is that they use the 811 horn and 802/808/809 driver. Since 1/4" phone jacks are used for connections, these were probably used in a PA system and may have had the crap beaten out of them. As such, I'd be quite wary of them unless you get a chance to listen critically. Even with this your purchase decision should consider cost of refurbishing drivers at GPA or equivalent. Might be worth $100-200 or maybe more depending on drivers and their condition. As always, caveat emptor and YMMV etc.

Gotcha. Makes sense. I aven't seen this crossover though w/LF out and fuses. I could pull the horn I guess and get the numbers there. I've listened to a lot of speakers in my life and these did have the correct fuse value and the attenuator rheostat is noise free and the cabinets look quite nice. As to sound they seemed quite good and quite equal as I listened to them one at a time.
So I guess you'd recommend I pull the horn out and get the driver and horn numbers. Thanks much!!

811 and 511 horns ring and no amount of damping efforts can eliminate it. If you search you will find decades of discussion and efforts of all sorts. Fact is they ring. The drivers are very good but there are superior horns available to you today. A big part of horn magic is matching driver exit angle to horn throat entrance angle this eliminates (reduces to a minimum) reflections from horn throat to diaphragm. However if you find that you are good with the sound of the horn bonus for you. Enjoy.

Her are mine. No vane(s).I also found a video of a pair of Altec horns that were professionally damped.

These show up on eBay from time-to-time.

The ring is eliminated completely if you cut the center vane where it is welded in the center. When that is intact, the vane and the top and bottom flare resonate like a tuning fork.
Altec found that out before they stopped manufacturing those horns, and did just that. They even filled the gap with black silicone to look like a weld.
I use a pair of 811's in my system, and cutting the weld out stopped the ringing completely.
Nice info! Thanks.
