The driver is available in either a thread-on or bolt-on style, and either 8 or 16 ohms.

A bigger version of the PE elliptical horn (in stock), they also have the Celestion driver (even though it's not shown, but probably not in 16 ohms).
EV DH1506 single piece deep drawn dome former in Aluminum with a polyimide suspension built like a tank two inch diaphragm. You could also look to the DH2A or even the DH1A.
All can be found used for very little and are world class drivers built to take the real world.Depends on if you need a one inch exit or a two inch exit or a 1.4 inch exit. You already know how good the EV gear can sound.

Of how much space is available to mount a horn in the C34.
Mine is a single driver (d130) version and I just set it on top.... thanks....
all the space in the world with the top of the cabinet so close to the woofer.

If you are crossing at 4000Hz, I assume you have a D130 in the boxes? That would mean you need something really efficient...
In my experience, you would do best to cross much lower, classically a JBL potato-masher at 1200. The D130 has a big drop around 1500, leveling off with a lot of ringing above there to 8kHz or so. A 4K crossover leaves a hole in the 1500-4000 range. There are a lot of decent options like the "econowave" that might serve.
Incidentally, are you SURE the woofers are 16 ohms? In the early days there were "16 ohm" JBL cone drivers with a 5.5 ohm DC resistance; they were re-labeled as 8 ohms eventually. Kind of confusing.
I'm just gonna keep the crossover point where it is. Cheap is the way Im going with the least amount of work possible.
