Thank you! Do you have compression driver/horns on your OB? What order, cut off freq, and type of filter(XO) combo you settled in for LF and HF if you do not mind me asking? I want to try it before doing the sweep as I have an OB too eith passive XO.

Yes: JBL 15's on the bottom, and open-backed JBL 2420's on top, with QSC horns. I'm using a 24dB/oct Linkwitz-Reilly crossover in MiniDSP. Additionally, I have a passive equalization network for the bass (between the DAC and the bass amp).

You have very good taste in books!
(I don't recognize the other two.)
:)
I will stat my reading the application notes at miniDSP website and see if I can understand.

Hey there,
Late reply, but I missed this when it first came up. Have you picked up a mini DSP yet?
I got one recently, for eventual use in a similar project. Plans change, but currently I intend to run the bass drivers thru the DSP, minimal passive X-over on the horn.
In the meantime, I tried it with my main system (15" coaxial + 2*15 bass drivers), just as a crossover for the bass drivers. I found it pretty easy to get it going for that application.
Yes! I use REW to measure and have it for two way application.
Hey Amandarae,
How did the minidsp turn out for you? I've crossed over to the dark side, and ordered a minidsp 2x8, with the calibrated mic. I'll check back in.

Big speakers and little amps blew my mind!
Hi Jamie! It worked very well, thanks for asking. I am very happy with its addition to my system. I too bought the mic from mini DSP and it is so easy to use. I bet you will like it! I use the mini DSP on a two way (Altec 416 in BR cabs with Altec 802 or 288 on JMLC horns) application. A few more months of playing and I think I am ready for a 3 way or a 2.1 (sub for 80 Hz and below),

Wow, your pictures are neat. I've never thought of a hybrid horn OB system like that. Now it makes me think of the very early WE theatre systems that were OB with a horn tweet.
