Hi guys,
The 12pr310s are now in a 2.5 cubic foot box tuned in the low 50s. The produce a good mid 50s bass at 96db +-. Not a bad balance for it's size. With this they are perfect for late 50s early 60s Jazz, nice punchy bass and articulate through their range. Easy to drive and they get very loud.
I kick in the PPSL IB for heavy music They blend together nicely and shake the house. However, the 25 to 50hz the AE TD15S produces is hard to beat. Later this week I'll cross the PR310 to the 15S and see what for gut pounding that combo produces. LOL

I have been following your posts on this design with interest. I have a pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers, but I think I would be better off selling them and building something like this, than trying to modify them to sound good. (They don't sound that good to me in stock form.) Thank you for posting!
Dave
I would recommend the link below but change the box size for max flat alignment add a pair of 15" subs and screw it all.
Use at least two 3" ports. A single is too shallow and too much midbass reflects out the port. Two 3"ers will be 5-6" deep and clean up the lower vocal range.
