Hi
I am glad you are enjoying those speakers, they are the second full range Unity speakers I designed back at Sound Physics Labs, around the year 2000 or so. They are similar to the sh46 but not the same as the Synergy horns have even less phase shift.
I have an improved crossover circuit somewhere if you feel inspired to change them at some point but no rush, they worked pretty well as is.
One of the early installations of those were at Blossom park in Cleveland, the orchestra conductor auditioned the various choices and pointed to those and said “those, no substitutions”.
Best,
Tom

Is this the unit you used for documenting your US patent on U.S.A. methods?
Thanks for checking in Tom. I would be interested in an improved Xover circuit in the near future. How do I get that? my Email is claudej1@aol.com when you're not too busy making sound improvements for tens of thousands of people instead of just me. LOL.I just bought a Runt for center channel, via Mark Seaton, working my way to all of your older stuff eventually for my HT. Got my eye on new SH-50's when my finances improve, hopefully in the not too far future.
I have been a horn guy for all of my adult life (took a loan for Khorns when I got out of college, LOL), but your Unity Summation Aperture stuff is in a class by itself.
The term "extra crispy" comes to mind, especially after listening to the "soft edged/mushy" overpriced, direct radiator systems the rest of the world is so fond of at Axpona a few months back.
