I'm all for innovation. I hope the "Ironic" is more than a 2-way ribbon tweeter / 15" direct radiator OB. Diffusers/reflectors are interesting. Just the other day I heard a man talking as if he was next to me. (No, this doesn't happen often.) Looking around I saw no one but a long curved wall that was acting as a reflector. It only affected one 10" focal area. One step in either direction and I heard nothing. It's an interesting concept.
I wish OMA would give some science and philosophy behind it rather than the mfg process. But I could see how a man could be enraptured watching fire birth speakers while he sips Kopi Luwak.

It's not. That's the ironic part. LOL
I had to look up Kopi Luwak.
Is that the audiophile beverage for watching speakers being made?
Up to $600 a kilo and then you need to account for cream and sugar:)
The interesting part about Kopi Luwak, like the OMA Ironic, is how it's made.
As with many delicacies, I wonder about the first person to try it and what made them think it would be a good thing to do.
Not even delicacies. Who was the first guy to suck on a grazing animal's nipples? Did the rest of the tribe give him funny looks?
Who then decided it'd be even better when rotted?
