I stumbled across this site that has some beautiful petal type segmented horns, just thought I would share it. Anyone heard them by any chance?
Follow Ups:
As said earlier, those are for looks rather than sound. If you want pedals with great sound, you can't beat compression drivers, heavy wood and a linear path from the driver to your ear.
Above is what Jeffery Jackson has been up to.

I heard them a few times, once at the maker's shop in Chicago. I think they sound OK but I think you'd do as well just sticking the Fostex drivers he uses in a proper vented box at a fraction of the price. The back loaded horns are too small to do much more than look cool.Note that the maker doesn't use test or measurement equipment, I think he just plays it by ear, which can be good or bad, depending. I think he's aiming at a market that wants something that looks hep, design people, Portlandia, and not at audiophiles. Note that a web search brings up many articles from design websites and few from audio ones.

I have lusted over these (just based on their looks) for over 5 years. When I first discovered them, their 36" Little Horns were going for $1500 per pair. Now, I see they are $6400 per pair. Should have acted a long time ago!
For that cash, you could probably get a custom horn built.
Get a Hedlund tweaked to suit your tastes, (petal mouth, perhaps) and you would have something visually similar, but with a longer horn / better low end and with a similarly small footprint.
The 36" horn would need a stand, whereas with a Hedlund or similar, the horn is the stand, which I think is a better use of space.
Haven't heard them, but in seeing the profile, they look to be a variant on a back-loaded horn. If you've heard a Fostex BLH, you can probably guess what these will sound like. A few years ago, the shop owner (Chicago-based luthier/guitar maker), provided horns for a gig in the Guggenheim with Andrew Bird.
