But I am impressed with the bass horn.
I'm still lusting to make a bass horn someyear. A 6ft2 mouth, 4' long sitting on the floor that should measure flat to 100hz.

I recall that a group of audiophiles got together and compared Lowthers in front horns versus compression drivers (Edgar variety I believe) in front horns. The group generally preferred the Lowthers.
Clearly those are not front horns in that picture, but you seem to doubt Lowthers altogether. I use Lowthers in open baffle, and they sound very, very good.
