Have you even heard the Heresy III?
I thought not.
The Heresy II and II are a vastly different speaker than the old Heresy you love to hate.

Yeah, I did hear them, when Saturday Audio in Chicago sold them. I was curious about a speaker that claimed deeper bass AND higher efficiency than the earlier models that used the same size closed box. True, they weren't as bad as earlier models. IMO.
H3's are more efficient 99db1w1m(just saw djk note 94) and the tweeter was changed to tractrix. Great sounding little speaker. At least it isn't covered with magic pebbles. lol
I must admit to being confused by open baffle speakers. I've heard a few at LSAF but they didn't do much for me. I assumed the attraction was similar to single driver solutions being simplicity of build.
High sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low distortion, and smooth frequency response. Pwk
